Yesterday

So, yesterday was our first day of CAtechesis. Most everyone seemed to enjoy it, and our musicians had a good time and did great. The Bishop of that day (Nottingham, England) was really good, and related well to the youth. Fr. Ben heard confessions the entire time...

After that, there was free time, and I had my opportunity to play for WYD (the "vocation.com coffee house"). I think everyone found something they enjoyed.

And then we regathered for a Detroit-only Mass. That was awesome. I played the traditional "YEs, Lord", and "Awesome God", and the whole place erupted. It was very encouraging, and most of our group said that was their favorite part of the day...

Following that, we kinda spread out in the Sydney area to get lunch on our own (they needed a break from the WYD meals), and again found stuff that most of them liked.

I think we are going to try to come back earlier tonight. So, I should be able to write a bit more, and give more details... Sorry, I'm am so short today, yesterday was just a crazy day...
